Aloo Ki Papdi Chaat Recipe

Ingredients for Papdi:

  1. Flour – as required
  2. Salt – to taste

Mix flour and salt and make dough with water and leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Then roll down and cut in slices. Deep fry in oil till crispy.

Ingredients to prepare papdi chaat:

  1. Boiled potatoes – 3 (cut in cubes)
  2. Yogurt – 1 cup
  3. Chopped onion – 1
  4. Chopped tomato – 1
  5. Fresh coriander – as required
  6. Green chilies chopped – 5
  7. Chaat masala – to taste
  8. Crushed red chili – 1 tsp
  9. Salt – to taste
  10. Sweet chutney – as required

Ingredients for Sweet chutney:

  1. Dates – ½ cup
  2. Water – ¾ cup
  3. Tamarind water – ½ cup
  4. Sugar – 1 tsp
  5. Chaat masala – ½ tsp
  6. Garam masala – ½ tsp
  7. Vinegar – 1 tbsp

Grind all ingredients in grinder and make smooth chutney.

Method:

  • Now prepare all the ingredients in layers on a serving dish.
  • First of all, take a bowl, add boiled potatoes, red crushed chili, some sweet chutney and salt and mix it well.
  • Now on the serving dish, put fried papdi, then potatoes, then sweet chutney, then yogurt, then onion, then tomato, then green chilies, then sweet chutney, then yogurt, then fresh coriander, then chaat masala, then crushed chili, then sweet chutney, then yogurt and finally again, papdi crumbs.
  • Serve this yummy chaat.
