How to Make Pumpkin Halwa
Ingredients:
- Pumpkin – 500gm
- Semolina – 1 cup
- Ghee – ¾ cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Green cardamoms – 4
- Water – 3 cups
- Raisins, almonds, pistachio – as required
Method:
- Take a pan, add pumpkin slices and ¼ cup of water, cook on low heat until pumpkin slices become soft.
- Then take a wok, heat up ghee and add cardamoms and semolina, fry until you can smell the aroma.
- When it’s done, add sugar and water; cook until water dries.
- Then add softened pumpkin slices and half quantity of dry nuts; fry well.
- Dish out, garnish with remaining nuts and sliver paper.
- Serve hot.
